College is suck.....

College is suck! Ive been sitting here for hours today knowing I have to write a 4 page paper for my required art class. Over like 5 hours I've done nothing more than write the first paragraph of it. On the plus side practically everything else I've needed to do today has gotten done. I cant wait for this year and the next 2 to get over with so I can get on to something more enjoyable! How about you? College good or college bad?

Graduate School: better.

Postdoctoral work: great.

Real job: The Best ($$$$).

Stay with it, it gets better.

The first couple of years of college was suck....because of all the required courses in non-fun stuff...The last 2 (actaully 3 for me...Just took my time) were a blast...I really enjoyed my last couple of years, especially the last 2 semesters when I took all the upper level engineering courses (fun stuff....Senior Design...etc)...

It usually gets better, unless you are in a major that you don't like to begin with..In that case, you should change your major...No need to live the rest of your life with something you don't like!

you gotta outline dude...makes writing the paper much easier...


...and I don;t mean that dumb roman numeral/hierachy outline shiet either...

do a brain dump or sumthin'...start in the middle of the paper if that makes you feel better.
The hardest paragraph to write is the first paragraph.

i've managed to take 75% of all my stupid required classes the first year by taking summer school and using my APs. Being a lazy CS student i went to class about 5 hours a week, but at least i finished all that crap. Damn my GPA needs some help. i'm hoping this gets better.

So far, college sucks. The college I'm at, ( I can't say the name, but its in northern California) were not very smart and hooked up ONE T1 line to the entire school + 6 residence halls. Needless to say, the network bandwidth was completely saturated the during the first week to the point where the network was shut down. Now, everyone is limited to 10k cap. WHERE IS THE HIGH SPEED INTERENET ACCESS??? HOW CAN I BROWSE ANANDTECH FORUM AT 10K??

Good lord, I've been shafted by my schools administration, forced to take classes that i downright hate, developed severe back problems, and more.

But none of it outweighs the insane blast I'm having.
