Um the floor isn't marble.. it's just normal flooring that you would find anywhere... it looks like it's marbled because it's soaped. And this is pretty common behavior at dorms.

hahaha... we used to go beer sliding at the big party room at my fraternity house. but it got pretty ugly one time when a drunk guy, hoping to liven things up by pouring an industrial size thing of liquid soap on the floor, grabbed a bottle of bleach by mistake. we had to evacuate the house.
