I didn't realize just how crazy their schedule is.

sure you can since they only scheduled one of those games themselves. That and the fact the trip to Tempe is their first out of the South since desegregation.

LSU is in the top 10 in all of the polls except one. Gooooooo Tigers.

This year will be touch because of new QB, defense and offense lines have new people plus vs. Georgia and at Florida/Auburn.

Illini football ranked? Wow I can't believe how well Zook has turned this program around!

I hope Mizzou doesn't help Illini along with that ranking. Really looking forward to the season opener.

I was tempted to say "no way," but then I thought about LSU's QB situation.

LSU is so strong along both lines, especially on defense, I just don't see that happening. LSU's QB is just going to be there to manage the game this. He's not going to be asked to win any games. It's going to be all running game and defense for LSU this year.

They will not make it through the season unscathed. I'm having flashbacks to Brandon Cox "managing" games and winning with the running game & defense. Granted, he was perfect against Bama and I admired how he battled through his disease but damn...

I didn't say they wouldn't make it through the season unscathed. I just don't see them being a victim of a stunning upset from the likes of App St.

I can see them being a 3 to 4 loss team this year with their schedule though (Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Miss St).

Fair enough. I can agree with that sentiment. I think alot LSU fans are going to get shocked back to reality this year. "The Hat" is going to be feeling the heat.

I wish I could get a good read on Auburn. I've got the feeling this is going to be an all or nothing season for us. Either we're going to be really good and play lights out or we're going to be abysmal. If nothing else, it should be exciting. :)

Just ordered GamePlan yesterday, so I'm prepared for SEC football in Big-10 country. :)

I know how good LSU should be on the lines.. their D line might actually be better than last years... but if you get 4-5 turnovers, just about anybody can beat you.

I predict a loss to Florida, and a loss to Auburn (fvcking can't win in their house obviously)
Other than that, the wins will be there

Oh, Georgia.... over-rated imo :p

Michigan had great lines too (they did beat Florida ;)) App state sure as heck didnt beat Michigan by muscling them up front.

These are complete bullshit. How is it that Ohio State can go to the BCS championship two years in a row and get pounded both times and remain #3 when VT wins the ACC championship, loses the Orange Bowl and drops to #15 and LSU who won the BCS is #6.

After the BCS fiasco/bullshit this past season (Bowl picks) I'm saying screw it. I just wanna watch good football.

So when you lose the championship your supposed to drop to what? They lost to the #1 team, not some scrubs. Last year was a rebuilding year and they werent even supposed to make it there. This year they retaurn 20 starters (including all americans on both sides of the ball, 2 heisman candidates) not to mention picking up the nations #1 recruit.

LSU graduated a lot, and dismissed thier starting QB. I'm actually surprised they are as high as #6

All that talent and they'll still get bitchslapped by an SEC team. :)

Q: What's the difference between cheerios and Ohio?

A: Cheerios look good a bowl.

That's funny, because no team has more BCS bowl appearances then OSU, and only 1 team (USC with 5) has more than OSU's 4 BCS bowl wins.

Oklahoma has appeared in 6 BCS games.

2000 - 2001 - Orange Bowl
2002 - 2003 - Rose Bowl
2003 - 2004 - Sugar Bowl
2004 - 2005 - Orange Bowl
2006 - 2007 - Fiesta Bowl
2007 - 2008 - Fiesta Bowl
