Another INT for LSU Defense at the 1 yard line. Go Defense.

Holy smoke, 72 yards punt for LSU.

Are Greg Danielson and Verne Lundquist really the best that CBS has on the payroll? Can't stand either of them.

LSU wins, ugly but still a win. Ark is the only dangerous team left in the schedule.

Goodness LSU does need a good QB, as the one at Ark or Stanford or WVU.

Grats to LSU (even though I'm not a fan). It's never easy to go into another team's house and win in a game like this.

not rooting for either team but the hype was beyond belief. It was a boring/mistake-filled game.

Honestly I can't stand the talk about a rematch...

Winning your conference should be a prereq to playing in the national championship.

Atleast the snoozefest ended in time for everyone to watch the last couple of minutes of a real game.

ah yes, ATOT sports threads, half full of idiots about sports..

good game

I'm 100% willing to conceded that these are the 2 most talented teams in the country - in all aspects other than placekicking and QB play

It's shocking to me that both teams have zero good qb's combined - same was true last year, Alabama's QB was limited at best - but still better than this guy - and LSU's QB's both stink - one can run, neither are particularly good passers

Monk3y - if the two best teams are in the same conference, what difference does it make?

Championship game = LSU/Stanford
Alabama/Boise St

Also - the fact that the big east gets an auto-bid into the BCS is awful

LSU defense saved the bacon tonight. If it was not for Reid's INT and the sack in OT, Bama would had won.

And good game between KSU and OSU, down to the last second.

Well, I've been in Bama for 26 years, so I figure that I'm A naturalized southerner by now :)

Enough with the petty bitching and name calling... It's gameday!!!

Rtr!

seriously, though. Rednecks are a noble breed and deserving of much respect. They can be found on every corner of the planet, but certainly exist in much greater concentrations in certain regions of the American South--Alabama, for example.

I think we can all agree that douchebags should just be castrated.

Anyway--that game sucked ass. What a boring-ass shithole of a game. How does Alabama win 8 games with a QB that shitty?

I'm stunned at how inept the quarterbacking was, being the top 2 teams in football. For the most part, the trenches were incredible tho. Richardson is a juking beast but was stopped when it counted.

How can you guys seriously say that this game was boring? This was one of the best games I've seen in a while. Such a huge defensive game.

There was good defense no doubt about it, but it was like watching varsity defense vs a sloppy jv offense.
