Yeah... I personally don't like the pros all that much. It's hard to match the excitement and atmosphere at Bryant Denny Stadium on a Saturday night. Gives me chills! Other big time programs also have great atmospheres as well... i've heard LSUs is quite impressive if you can avoid getting puked on by the people who have gotten way too lubed up before the game :)

Roll Tide.

I don't honestly care who wins. I'm rooting for a nailbiter. If it's a blowout, either way, then it's a let down. I expect Alabama to win because of the home field advantage, but LSU winning wouldn't surprise me.

Question to those (most in this thread) that picked Alabama: why, other than home field advantage, did you pick them?

I honestly feel Alabama has a better all around team. LSU gave up 533 yards to West Virginia, I just can't see them stopping Richardson or McCarron.

I'll be prominently wearing purple around Birmingham tomorrow, and am fully expecting to be harassed for it. Should be good times. Geaux Tigers!

Our defense is (slightly) stronger than LSU's, Trent Richardson, Eddy Lacey, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I think this will be a heck of a game and is about as evenly matched as you can get.

In the end, I think they will not be able to have an effective running game against us and we will have a decent running game against them.

Of course, who the heck knows what Les Miles will do. He's likely to do an onside kick from their own end zone.

If you're an LSU fan in Birmingham, you should go to Crazy Cajun's for the game. They're big LSU fans and just happen to have the best Cajun food in Birmingham!

I've always felt a bit odd eating Cajun food outside Louisiana (sort of like, "well why'd you leave Baton Rouge to come here if you wanted Cajun food?"), but I just might give that place a try, thank ya.

LSU has the best road night game record. They're virtually unbeatable. Plus they have the honey badger. LSU by 7.

Seriously... the place has GREAT food. The owner (Robert) is a sho 'nuff Cajun and the food shows it.

The atmosphere is fun... But fair warning... the service is a bit slow, so go there only if you're not in a hurry and want to sit down and drink a few Abita Turbo Dogs :)

... Wait, why am I giving such advice to an LSU fan?... RTR! :)

I'm not a fan of the corporate NCAA itself, but watching the young guys compete, outstanding imo.

I agree, but I watch College Basketball instead because there is a playoff, not a relatively arbitrary polling system. It's really absurd that College Football functions this way. I still watch from time to time because I like to see the young guys play before they come to the pros, but it all seems so irrelevant and pre-determined. Fun to gamble on though.

Oh, you mean the team that still lost by three touchdowns....

They stopped Ingram last year so it is possible. Still a tall order and the determining factor. They won't win because of McCarron unless he's throwing to Richardson for a bunch of screens.

Think it's gonna be a close one and hopefully LSU pulls it out. Should be a good game regardless.

lol @ college football. Like it actually counts or something.

I like college better than pro. More comradely. More spirit. Better fans. Way better looking girls.

Pro's are too perfect, too fast, too much attitude.

But hell I still go to HS football games on occasion and enjoy them my son doesn't even play..

Oh and of course roll tide.

I much prefer rednecks to douchebags, so Alabama.

Really? Rednecks?... Ever been to Alabama? Or are you just making an ignorant blanket statement about the entire state (I assume you feel the same about the south as a whole too).

I'm originally from Chicago and I love the south.
