college decision deadline?

Anyone know if there is a deadline that schools have to let you know their decision? I am transferring and have been waiting for months now. Driving me nuts.
 
I know for entering 1st years, the deadline is usually May 1st. Transfer students may find out a little later. In any case, feel free to pick up the phone and call your respective schools to find out what is going on since they'll know more on the phone than you'll find out here.
 
ive already asked the admissions director a thousand questions an would prefer not to ask any more. just wondering if there is any national deadline

No national deadlines; they vary between schools. They won't reject you for asking more questions. They've probably already made up their minds in regards to you and your application.

national deadline? nope. Every college is different.
 
I transferred last year and my #1 pick (San Diego State) actually let me know late Feb.

My safety schools didnt get back to me until may.
