Ok I signed up late for freshman year at community college. There was no openings in any english classes so it seems tomarrow I must Go over and get a class added! But how about if they don't let me in because its full? I'm screwed this semester on english. So should I get there early or what? How early should I show up, any ideas?

Get on the wait list, show up there first day and see if anyone dropped or doesn't show.

In my experience, english is one of the hardest classes to get into. Now in my junior year, I finally am able to get in one, only because it's online. You'd think schools would notice this an schedule extra english classes, because most of the classes require some form or writing, which you learn in english. Lamery if you ask me.

English classes here are completely useless since they are taught by underpaid foreign grad students. How the hell am I supposed to learn English from a TA that speaks broken English?

at most community colleges, they won't have TA's teach you because they dont' have the money to pay TA's.. but anyhow.. what i did was this:

phone in my registration.. if it was full, be put on a wait list
if you're on a waitlist, go to class at a regular time.. don't have to be early..
if you're not on a waitlist (especially for english classes) go early, and make sure you're one of the first people that are trying to add the course.. sometimes teachers will tell you that they probably can't let you in, but they're just trying to scare you away

what i would suggest you do is look for another section.. for english, there's always a whole bunch of sections because they know how popular they are.. if none of those fit in yoru schedule, then yes.. you are $hit out of luck

Mine was taught by a guy that looked like Thor from rpgamer.org. Remember him? :)
