I need to pick a major. I am looking at Computer Science, Information of Science and Technology, and Computer Engineering. I have a basic idea of what these are but if somebody who has gone through any of those majors or who is about to and cares to share a more in depth description of what to expect and what goes on that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a junior in computer science. Hope you like C++. Started off as comp engineer, but decided I didn't really want to design electronic components, but I still might take it as a minor. YOur IST major is probably similiar to MIS, Management Information Systems. Its like Comp Sci, but more business and accounting. Its up to you, do you like math? If you do then Comp Engineer-CompSci-IST is the order of preference. Comp Engineering will guarantee you close to 6 figures after a few years of work, if you are good. Comp Sci is really good too and demand for C++ people is super high. IST will be decent, like all IT careers, but it won't be as high off the start. It might be better if you want to go into management, but IMHO go for CS.
