I'm still in school but I'm curious to see what former students wish they had taken.

This can also be a class that you plan on taking but have not gotten around to enrolling in it.

Philosophy. I took Anthropology and Sociology, which both opened my eyes, and discredited philosophy. Still wish I took it to see this other perspective though.

Philosophy does sound interesting. I'm trying to see if I can fit in a linguistics course.

All of them.

As in, actually paid attention in all of them and learned instead of just going for chicks and beer.

Well, I only kind of wish that.

Philosophy, Journalism, 400 level photography, Physical Anthropology (I rocked out on cultural), to name a few...

..and German. Stupidly, I passed out of German on the ACTs, didn't take any classes, and now I don't remember a goddamn thing. I also wish I had done a semester abroad.

An unbeliever!

Honestly, anthropology, namely cultural and linguistics, had a bigger impact than sociology. Some of it was bullshit, but a lot of it showed the interconnectedness of everything and the influence of culture on everyone. Even if it is all bullshit, it made a lot more sense than the snippets of philosophy and genetics they gave us (fed through an anthropological lense of course).

Edit: Forgot to add that for VERY LARGE portions of the Sociology course, I was screaming "commie, commie, traitor to our country". So many readings on Marx, the bourgeois and the means of production...

Hmm ....
Astrophysics and Particle Physics would have been interesting ...
I think I would have a much stronger understanding of the universe ...

Also, maybe some more economics courses so that when I disagree with the figureheads on TV, then I would have more credibility :)
