Elimination Day!

Either FSU or Miami is packing their bags. The fact that one of those two teams HAS to go home today is a shock to everyone.

I guess the real game of interest is going to be that UNC vs. Fresno St. game. Because as it looks right now, UNC is going to walk their way right to the championship.

Geaux Tigers. I'm surprised we have gotten this far and won 23 games in a row. The games this season I attended were awful

They are going to have their hands full with ASU. One of the more rounded teams out there. Though, it is hard to say how good they are. When FSU/Miami/UNC(top 5 majority of the year) are beating each other up... it is difficult to compare records. They have been quite impressive this year though.

I'm not really expecting much from Fresno state in reality. ASU being ranked #5 in the nation doesn't give us a chance really.

Geaux Tigers. Good season thus-far, but nothing like the golden 90's and Skip Bertman for LSU baseball. Still, I hold out hope.

The ACC goes 0-3 on day one which surprised everyone I think. The Miami-Arizona game was one of the best games I've seen all year.

FSU, NCState and UNC all have comfortable leads today and look like they will win.

UC Irvine @ LSU is on today @6 est... should be the best series of the super regionals.

My Noles have disappointed me so many times in the last decade that I'm sure we'll go and get shut out tomorrow but I can always hope for the best. Eduardo Perez has been doing the games for ESPN; even though he's not very good as an announcer, he played when I was going to school there and I still remember the chants of "Vamanos, Eduardo!"

I feel you there. Have an incredible regular season and fall flat in the playoffs. I still feel like FSU will win tomorrow... just not sure about the CWS. You can fall into the losers bracket in a regional and still be alright. That's a very difficult task in the CWS. FSU is going to give up ~5-7 runs a game. It really just depends on whether or not they hit the ball.

FSU, Miami, UNC, NCState, UCIrvine, Stanford, ASU and Rice win today.

Stanford is the first team to punch their ticket to Omaha.

Games to watch tomorrow- First and foremost... Miami vs. Arizona, should be a great game... I'll still take Miami.
Secondly, Wichita State vs. FSU. I think FSU outhits them in this one.
Third, UGA vs. NCState. I have no clue who wins this one... being an ACC homer, I hope NCState takes it. They have better pitching, so hopefully they can take this one
Fourth- UCIrvine at LSU. I think Irvine takes the series here. I'm not still not sold on LSU's ability to win.

FSU wins 11-4, eliminating Wichita State. First trip to Omaha for us since 2000.

LSU comes from behind, scoring 5 runs in the 9th to beat UC Irvine 9 - 7.

GA eliminates NC State.

Just finished watching it myself; great game and even greater comeback there at the end.

Now it's time to go take advantage of the 2-for-1 drink specials that're sure to pop up all over Baton Rouge tonight.

Geaux Tigers, that game reminded me of the soap-opera season the football program just finished completing

Woot, geaux tigers...

Was at the game last night and will be there again tonight. One of the best comebacks in a meaningfull game ever(for LSU at least).

Sure there have been more thrilling comebacks, but just wow.

I still can't believe it.

Just one more. Make it to Omaha and I don't care if we go 0-2, this team has just had a special season
