College athlete of the year?

They've all made tremendous contributions to their very elite teams, and if they go pro will likely be a very high draft pick..

My vote goes to Vince..as he almost singlehandedly lead Texas as one of the best teams in college football since the beginning of the year, and almost by himself lead Texas to a national title..which is a lot harder to accomplish in football than in basketball.

Bush is the best college athlete this year. If it was MVP then it would be Young. He meant the most to his team.

Vince Young.

His performance in the Rose Bowl was one for the ages. Reddick and Morrison didn't amount to much, Bush choked (relatively speaking, as his performance was still better than most people's), and I don't even know who Joakim Noah is (not a good sign).

😕 He Lead Florida to the national title and is a likely #1 pick in this year's NBA draft..

Noah should not be on there

Noah is likely to be a #1 pick stricly for his performance..if Morrison and Reddick belong on there then he certainly does as well.

Noah had 1 good game...just happened to be the Championship.

I voted for Vince Young despite the fact I'm a USC fan, and a HUGE Reggie Bush fan. Vince Young is clearly the MVP, while Bush is the MOP (Most Outstanding Player).

It's already been decided. It's JJ Redick.

Look up who won The Sullivan Award this year.

Let go of your Duke bias my friend, you know this to be true...

In 2006...

This Trumps ALL!

We're talking about records here....legendary records: the all time ACC scoring leader.
Records-schmeckards.. I see no where in the OP that statistical achievements were priority. Vince Young single-headedly defeated the team that never lost, the team no one could stop for 3 years.. on the most hyped-up college Football stage in forever, with all those USC players about to enter the draft knowing this would be their last game... and he STILL beat those guys. He did it in the regular season too - undefeated. In a college Basketball-only poll you would be right, but VY simply won and stepped it up when it mattered most.. Reddick simply didn't do enough in comparison.
