Do public school, i.e. UC or CSU, require you to send in the score report from CollegeBoard to them for verification?

yes, almost all schools require a score report direct from college board.

Yes. If you haven't already sent them into UC/CSU, send them in NOW, by rush delivery. App deadline was 5 weeks ago!

1) He's talking about score reports, not applications.

2) There are schools with January 15 deadlines. Hell, I'm applying to 3 of them.

I'm not talking about deadlines, I'm talking about whether you'll get in or not. Most schools have already decided who's getting in by now.

 Then how come my decisions don't come out until late March/early April?

What Shawn said only applies for schools with a rolling decision type policy.

Ohhhh I see. I didn't do ED/EA anywhere. Didn't want to be binded anywhere and I wasn't ready with my Stanford SCEA application by the November 1 deadline, so I ended up doing that regular decision.

I wish I'd know where I'm going to college :(

Depending on the college, they may take a vast majority of their admitted during the ED/EA period.

I know for Univ. of Maryland, more than 80% of those accepted are so during the Priority period.

The only public schools I applied to were University of Californias (Berkeley, UCLA, etc.). They don't offer ED/EA.

Haha thanks. Just submitted my final application last night. I still have a common application supplement remaining, but I'm debating sending it in.

I think I'll do a Brackis-like post in March and start a contest regarding my college admissions. :p
