so you failed everything else in that class? Maybe you should stay away from college, unless you're planning to get a BA in Nefology -- the useful degree programs do require something called "studying."

er... i'm good at chemistry and physics. and i've gotten B's or A's in every other class without studying... i just dont need to study, it wasnt studying that killed me in this class, it was that the teacher, in high school, wanted some assignments turned in online, and some in class....

and she'd never remind us about the online ones in class and visa versa...

wait, just a C in a basic class? you'd think they'd lower that bar if you're in an AP class

C in AP is B in normal... but it's impossible to get the equivalent of a C, as a D in AP is still a D in normal...

they offer no "standard" ap government classes. this i see as an undue requirement on AP students, that they have to check their personal Emails every day to be in the good as far as assignments are concerned. she runs every one of her classes like this, i see it as wrong. no other options other than going back to a lesser class are given.

hate to break to ya...but AP "should" be college level...and in college. lots of profs also use email/internet as teaching tools.

but ditto on the requirement thing. ucla has me taking two extra courses at a CC over summer🙁

Wow, being a cal state student myself, I didn't realize they had restrictions like that. In fact, I didn't think you even needed the SAT's or ACT to get into a cal state university, and just a gpa of 2.0.

this not an undue requirement at all, students at just about any major university are expected to check their email every day. i mean come on, is it that unreasonable to expect you to just check your email? it takes what, 5 minutes?

He's in for a surprise when (if ever) he gets to college. AP classes are supposed to help you prepare for college. The teachers in college are only there to talk meaningless bullsh!t for however long your class is, to give you exams, and to give you a grade. "But you didn't tell me to check online....." - oh man, I bet they'll feel sorry for you!

in my high school, you have to pass gov to graduate, and you cant enter any 4 year schools without a HS diploma.

But was it an AP class? AP classes usually require acceptence into, as they are college level classes. Never heard of a high school that required AP.
