You realize you have zero credibility after saying that you think a Powell endorsement is more likely to hurt Obama than help him, right? After making such a statement it's hard to take anything you say seriously.

If you want to point out it has it's ups and downs, fine, but the virtues far, far outweigh any negatives. Powell supported the Iraq war while Obama opposed it which may send a mixed message. But the endorsement puts to rest for thinking people whether Obama is a terrorist sympathizer, as Powell would have nothing to do with such a person. It also says Powell thinks Obama can handle foreign conflicts just fine.

I am not going to argue about Powell's credibility with you. All I am trying to express is how it will effect voter's decisions and specifically how it can and already has done nothing but increase Obama's number of supporters.

LOL, I think Powell has done enough damage and at this point I could care less what his opinions are. He had his time in the sun and blew it.

I really don't know anybody who really thinks Obama is a terrorist sympathiseer anymore then I know anybody who believes McCain is the Manchurian candidate.

If I were a Presidential candidate I wouldn't want Powell's endorsement anymore then I would Bush's.

Of course your not going to argue Powell's credibility, because at this point he has none. As far as how he has affected Obama's support, that's just your opinion against mine. At least I have given my reasoning for my opinion.

Your opinions are against reality, public perception and polling data.

http://www.rasmussenreports.co...t_of_obama_as_possible

Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans have a favorable view of Powell, as do 81% of unaffiliated voters and 77% of Democrats.

To the extent his endorsement has any effect, it will be positive. We get it, you don't like Powell and you think he has no credibility. The overwhelming majority of america disagrees with you.

and he voted for GWB twice. /headasplode

Right, which he basically admitted was a poor choice. So what's the problem exactly?

He also said the Republican party is moving too far to the right...... yet McCain is the nominee.

I find it funny that Powell made the argument for going to war with Iraq.

Well, I don't really care what polls say, i take pride in doing my own thinking.

Powell was wrong about My Lai and wrong about WMD's. It seems he has problems when put under pressure.

That should be 'had', not 'have'. As soon as he started his ridiculous behaviors of late, ?CP? was put on the black list, and ignored by most of ?those that matter?. You know; the ones that celebrate being an American by having jobs, working hard, and maintaining good hygiene; and fighting in wars when we have too.

I don't know about Powell but as to the rest of your post, you're a complete fucking douchebag that can go fuck off. I'm completely 100%+ tired of the new "elitist" brand of GOP in these forums that state or infer that those of us that aren't voting or siding with the GOP are lazy, worthless, anti American and don't have jobs. My response is the ole "One finger victory salute" (i.e. fuck you to those not smart enough to figure it out).

It's interesting to see people who used Secretary Powell's presentation to the UN as part of the "proof" that reasonable people really thought there were WMDs in Iraq now use that same appearance in trying to diminish his credibility in endorsing Senator Obama's candidacy.

I?ve spent 20 years in service to my country and I will do 20+ more if she needs me to. I have been to war and came back, I have yet to squirm and don?t ever plan on doing so. To imagine for an instance that something like this would cause me any loss of sleep would be laughable if I didn?t already consider you pathetic for mentioning it. Semper Fi

Rush Limbaugh today said Colin Powells endorsement was about race. But not racism.
He also said Powells endorsement hurt Obama.

I choose not to follow you're link tough guy (Engineer). But since you like links so much here is one for you: http://www.gunbanobama.com/ I'm not interested in partisan politics, only the facts. If you're not too busy stomping on fetuses or kissing terrorists, you should really spend some time getting to know the facts about you're beloved 'chosen one'.

You need to do three things right now in any order:

1.) Learn the difference between "your" and "you're".
2.) Learn that if you're going to websites like 'obamacrimes.com', you might not be getting the most objective information available.
3.) Recognize that your (see?) ranting about stomping fetuses and kissing terrorists makes you impossible to take seriously.

What is it that you don't recognize about 'only the facts'? This isn't a tread on grammar is it?
