Coldboot Freeze Issues

My wife's machine has been either freezing on cold boot or saying that the OC failed (It has default settings, don't know why it's saying this.)

Her machine has:
2500k
ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0)
EVGA 560ti
8GB G.Skill RipsawX 1600
ANTEC BP550 Plus PSU

It has been acting funny for a while, but I turned off the option in the bios that made it go through a dual bios flash and since then it's gotten worse.

Any ideas?

Are the TPU and EPU switches on the mobo both in the off position?

Edit. If they are and you are still having the problem try turning off the PSU removing the cmos battery and holding the case power button for 30 seconds.

The TPU and EPU switches are correct. I'll try to pull the CMOS when I get home. Thanks for the help.

Set memory to XMP profile (AI overclock in bios)
OC failed usually means RAM not set right
And once booting has screwed up a few times it usually corrupts the bios a bit, so a full cmos reset as said, should be done first
Turn off psu rocker (0), push in case "ON" button till lights go out, unplug PSU, put jumper on pins 2-3 and take bat out. Must wait at least an hour, overnight better.
