Is it just me or does the cold weather make you lazy? Since about Nov. Ive been slacking on my workouts. Either only going 3 times a week instead of the 4 or cutting my workout short. But now that its warming up, its like I got a fresh breath of energy to get going. It might also be that I will finally be okay with taking my shirt of outside come summer since I am no longer a fatty. I still have some fat to cut but now is the time to get going.

Heh, it's been unseasonably warm in the Midwest. Started warming up a few weeks ago and it seems that it is here to stay.

My winter workouts, or at least when it was cold out, always sucked. Now that there is more daylight during the day, I feel a lot better. More daylight is always good

Yea, I don't like going/staying outside when it's cold. My mileage basically drops to around 60-70% of what I do in the summer (and I don't like treadmills, so I just end up doing less). When I had a gym nearby I would actually go more often in the winter because I spent less time running, but I've since moved and don't know of any place close.

Sort of... I lift more and heavier during the winter(every other day) because I only run twice a week. During the summer, I lift less and run more because I like to run. Naturally, some would call this a bulk and cut since I tend to gain muscle weight during winter due to the higher volume of resistance training but it was never my intention. It just works out like that.

Shrug, I get more miles in when its cooler outside. I can go longer and carry less water with me vs when its warmer out. But, I live in Phoenix. Coldest it gets is usually in the 30s. :)

On the other hand, in the summer, I'm dealing with 110F. :(

I can relate to you Sixguns. Every year from the end of October till the beginning of March I am unable to find a motivation and hit the gym.

It is probably because of the clothes I wear in this season - I just can see how sloppy I look in them so I do not feel the need to workout :)
