Just a heads up...

Went to buy myself an xbox for my birthday today, Walmart had the consoles, but not the games and accessories I planned on buying, so I left and went to target. When I asked about getting a pricematch to walmart on the xbox (about a $15 difference) I was informed that as of 11/01/02 they had stopped pricemating all competition nationwide. As it was they would only PM with kmart and walmart and I thought that was bad..

Getting a pm at Target was always hit or miss in my area. My stores completely stopped pming long before Nov 1st.

Afraid not - as of november 1st, target no longer pms, from anybody. Company policy. Before that they had restricted it to only matching Walmart and Kmart, but now we won't match anything. Kinda sucks from a customer's perspective, but it does make my job a little easier. Sorry guys.

That's wierd. I was able to pricematch the Toys R Us $10 Star Wars Episode II DVD at Target, and I think that was in November.

I tried to pricematch the TRU Attack of the Clones deal here in SoCal and was promptly denied at Target. "We don't pricematch anymore." :(

They probably made sure they put this into effect before the Black Friday sales. Everybody would just go to Target to get everybody else's deals and Target would lose money.
