cold sore/herpes question

for those of you who have a cold sore outbreak does the eruption always happen on the same spot on your lip or or does erupt on a different part of your lip each time?

are your sores moving downstairs? you should get that checked out.

different spot each time. but always on the mouth area. It won't move "downstairs" unless you contract the other kind of herp also. Though I'm not a doctor. . .but if you've been touching your mouth area while you have an outbreak, I wouldn't go flogging the dolphin without thoroughly washing your hands. And keep it away from your eyes.

they always ALWAYS occur on the sides of my mouth. not noticable, but they hurt. I have found its from the cold or sun.

The recurrences should always be within the same dermatome (second definition), but not necessarily the exact same spot.

Ditto. Had them since i was a kid, get them once or twice a year, sucks but what can I do?

Are you talking about chapped/cracking - or actual draining blisters?

For those of you have suffer from cold sores -

Pick up a bottle of L-Lysine. If you have any indication you're about to get an outbreak, such at itching or a bump - then take this. You can also break open a capsule and put it on the spot. Often this can stop the outbreak from happening, but at the very least it will minimize it and make it heal faster.

Its about cold sores. I know what canker sores are i used to get them all the time.
