Don't know if this is the right place for this post or not, but does anyone know of any way I can get my hands on a cheap, legal copy of Cold Fusion? The $5000 price tag they've got on it is pretty steep.

Legal and cheap don't go together when refering to high quality professional software.

It is software, isnt it? Some 3D modeling program? Enlighten me, as I really dont know :)

(its not actual Cold Fusion, where your going to power the world with only one reactor, is it? :) )

No it's not the power supply thing. Cold fusion is a software used with Fusetalk to run forums like this one.

What variety of Cold Fusion are you looking for? At Allaire's site prices range from $495 for ColdFusion Studio 4.5 all the way up to $1,295 for CF Server Professional for Windows and $5K for CF Server Enterprise for Win.

I do believe you can download a time-limit trial/demo version. Just extend the demo until you get the hang of it.

If you're using it to make money, you should pay for it. No doubt there is someone who is not using it anymore that would sell their CF CD. Try the I WANNA thread.
