Just discovered that USABancshares.com is moving from a cool, non-fee interest paying checking account....to one that sucks.

From April 23, 2001 accounts with a minimum average daily balance of less than $300 will be assessed a monthly service charge of $5.00. ATM fees of up to $5.00 will be reimbursed.

I have had an account for over a year since I signed up through the Gomez promo.
Since then they have cut the interest rate, cut the reimbursable ATM fees and now charging a monthly fee.....I think its time to say farewell..
 
Thanks for the heads-up...reminded me that I still have $60 or so in an old USABancShares account that served as a Paypal catchall a while back!

At least they're not getting as bad as Wingspan...just got hit with a $16.95 monthly fee! (combined monthly fee + online bill payment fee) Moving that account over to American Bank, now.
