Ok i'm not much of the electrical tech so I need some advice. I tried out a white cold cathode and they are awesome, which got me thinking. They are bright enough to use for some tech work when working on PCs. I want to know how I can basically change it to use a regular home wall ac outlet instead of a molex connector so that I can just easily pop it on when I need to see something small while I work on my comp.

Use an AT power supply and push the switch ? No, being serious about this, you'd probably be better off just buying one of those fluorescent under the counter lights or using a shop light with a fluorescent tube in it.
