Cold boot problem with KT7A-RAID

I can restart my machine a gazillion times with no issues. Yet when I go to turn on the machine via the power switch on my case, the hd's will spin up, all fans spin up, and that where everything halts right there. No video after that. At this point I have to hit the reset button to boot. Any ideas guys? Here's a quick look at my system:

Abit KT7A-RAID
AMD 1.3 @ 1450MHz (10x145)
Creative GeForce2 32MB
256MB Memman Infineon PC-133 @ 145
SB Live! 5.1
Hollywood+ DVD Decoder
Netgear FA310TX
Plextor 16x10x40 IDE
Pioneer 16X DVD
Maxtor 30GB 7200RPM ata100
IBM 14GB 7200RPM ata33
3DCool tornado 2002 Case

Any input would be appreciated......

How many watts on your power supply?

300 watts, AMD approved. Everything was working for the first week. I've disconnected everything from the motherboard, even the memory. And I still get that one beep. After i hit the reset switch I can run a 24 hour loop of QuakeIII. I managed to get it to boot 3 times via the power switch today, then it went back to doing the same damn thing.

Go to Amd's site and check for your specific power supply, here.
With everything your are running, 300 watts dosen't seem big enough. The KT7A RAID has a known problem with it and power hungry video cards but I don't think yours is one of them. The ASUS V7700 is though and that's what I was trying to run in my ABIT board. I have a 400 watt AMD approved power supply and my machine was very unstable with the card. Put my Viper Ultra back in and no problems. I assume when you say you pulled everything, you had ram and a video card in it when you tried to boot?

I think I got it working. I took out my GeForce2 and slapped in and OLD PCI 1MB screaming biaaatch I had lying around. Booted up fine. I checked out the links you posted. By changing the AGP driving force I was able to get the GF to boot properly. Thanks for thehelp. I appreciate it.
