ok just got buddys new system going
a7v133,tbird 750,pep66 delta,micron pc133 case 2
well first thing i connected L1's and booted at stock speed.everything fine so decided to start pushing it.restart,started changing multi's to see how high i could go.got all the way to 9.5 no problems but wouldn't boot at 10x100.so i got cocky and tried 7.5x133,no go.tried 7x133 bam 933
.stuck in u.t. and played for about 20 mins. then it locked.
restart,went into bios raised vcore to 1.85 and tried again.played ut for about 1 hr. till i got tired of playing.
quite game and ck'd temps 32 mb,42 cpu.
then decided to shut down and try cold boot(ala cusl2-c).thats when it all went bad
the highest i can get it to cold boot is 8.5x100.once into windows,restart and back up to 7x133 no problem.
well i guess my question is if i connect L7's to bump up default voltage do you think i'll also end up changing L6's for a value of 7 or should the L7's get me tru cold boot?(or will it try to boot at 7.5x133)and if i do connect L6's will i loose adjustment of multi in bios?
one more quick thing.has anyone ever tried using jumpers instead of jumper free to see if it would over ride defaults at cold boot?
