Cold boot problem: FF code on Epox 8KTA3 - resetting it then boots it

Have an 8KTA3 board here; worked just fine with a GF2 Ti 450. Now it's in another system with a TNT2 M64 Vanta video card, and when I initially turn it on, it gives a POST code of FF and just sits there. Hitting reset then boots it. I have tried a different video card in it without any change. Any ideas or suggestions?

Will it boot from floppy?
You also didnt mention anything else, I assume there is no OC'ing whatso ever.

are you using a different powersupply then before? sounds like its not getting enough juice for a cold boot

<< Will it boot from floppy? >>

If it can't POST on a cold boot, it can't boot from a floppy. 😉

No overclocking going on.

Yes, diff power supply. The one it was using was a Deer PSU, not AMD recommended. I don't remember the brand of this one offhand, but it says AMD recommended.
