Cold boot problem - caused by a video card?

I thought cold boot problems were caused by motherboards, not video cards, but this seems to say otherwise.

I have a TNT2 M64 Vanta video card here, and it's been in two different motherboards, and it's caused the same problem on both of them. They never do this with any other video cards; is there any way of fixing the video card, or does it just need to be replaced?

In your bios, try taking up the I/O voltage up one notch, it might alleviate some of the problems. Then again, I can't get my system to boot up on the first try these days either. ;)
