Colbert in Dead Heat with Biden for President

According to NY Post, Colbert netted 2.3 percent of Democratic vote while Biden is 2.7 percent of the vote. Obviously Colbert isn't a suitable candidate, but I do wonder if this just protest against the candidates already presented?

He didn't rate with Republicans. Maybe they just don't know humor when they see it?
 
What makes it even more sad is that 2 of the candidates he is beating, Kucinich and Gravel, are among the better choices, easily better than both Hillary and Edwards but they don't get the media attention that the top tier does.

Seriously... Is Colbert qualified? Likely not, but apparently the average Joe is showing a vote of No Confidence through supporting Colbert.

Some of Colberts responses to Anderson Cooper were hilarious. It shows that he can even discuss MMGW without offending anyone. Even Cooper laughed.


As far as Iran...When speaking about the Lieberman-Kyl Amendment, Colbert stated

"But not everyone supports our troops enough to give them the job security a war with Iran would provide...People like Senator Jim Webb, who voted against the amendment, calling it 'Dick Cheney's fondest pipe dream.' Well that is completely unfair. Everyone knows Dick Cheney's fondest pipe dream is driving a bulldozer into the New York Times while drinking crude oil out of Keith Olbermann's skull."

I guess we need to define "qualified." Not that I am suggesting that Colbert is qualified. He is French after all 😛

While it has been pretty clear that Colbert's run for the White House is a joke, some politicos are worried that - if he does enter the race, even in jest - his presence might have an effect on the outcome of the primaries.

I just have to say that if the Democrats lose votes to Colbert, theyre not running worthy candidates for their constituents and should really rethink their platform. I mean really! If you can't beat out a comedian, you should just go home.

Dems are all about choice and diversity in presidential candidates. We've got representatives for blacks, latinos, whites, men and woman, the unnaturally young looking, the senile elderly, and creatures of Faerie (I believe Kucinich is from the Latin 'kucin' meaning 'little forest sprite'). Why not a comedian?

Excellent point, this is just to show the weakness of the bipartisan politics, especially Kucinich who is by far IMHO thee most dedicated candidate for the job and has the record to prove it.

Clinton is a fake that is either going to get there because she is the first women to run for elections or because she sucked on some lobby banana , and Obama, well Obama is brilliant and has the qualifications, but let's face it, he is either dead or out. I mean he doesn't even have the black community in force trying to get him up there. I understand the African-American community, they have the golden chance of getting thee candidate that can take their hand and push them forward in society and help them but they just don't like him because he is college smart not street smart, pfffft

Here is to another term of a president that the majority doesn't really want but somehow still climbs on top.

HEY! has ANYONE noticed how much Dick Cheney hesembles Brain? I mean really, I am beginning to see through the disguise.

I m truly beginning to think tht Cheney is in FACT, a human suit for a Genetically Altered Laboratory Mouse bent on world domination. If that's the case, then Colbert MUST be Pinky. AAAHHHH!!!! It ALL makes sense now:evil:
