I saw this offer come in my e-mail today, and I thought some fellow frugal fellows might be interested in saving some money.
Essentially, if you have $30 of spare change lying around, or want to annoy a bank teller, you can turn it in at a Coinstar machine at your local Kroger Family store (Kroger, Fred Meyer, Fry's, King Soopers, Dillons, City Market, Smith's, Baker's, Ralphs, QFC, and Gerbes) (Promotion Locator). The best redemption for this would be Microsoft Points, and based on what I've read, you would have to redeem the eCertificate for 8x 4.99 point codes, which means you have 6 cents left over. I've got quite a lot of change sitting around, so I might as well put it to work. This requires a bit more effort, but it beats out the Buy $20 worth of XBOX Live points and get $5 free at Best Buy.
