Coil noise

What is a decent fairly cheap case like the that will stop very high pitched coil noise or at least dampen it effectively? Silencios?

Below $100 which is what the silencio 450 costs I believe.
I think any decent case which doesn't have holes (for fans) all over the place would be better.

Couldn't you try to deal with the source of the coil whine?

No. I don't know where its coming from exactly and I touched some components to see if the noise stops but no luck. Its very high pitched nearly out of my hearing range and not loud so its not that annoying but just enough to be irksome. But I don't want to leave the pc on overnight in the same room because of that.

The biggest problem with coil noise is 90% of the time it comes from the PSU, which means the noise has an unadulterated path out of the system (since there is usually a big fricken exhaust port right next to the coil that is probably responsible). There isn't any kind of deadening solution that would help with that even if they worked on such high pitched sounds. If it one of the others getting a case with true padding might help (R4, Silencio, or H2) might help, but again the higher the pitch the less likely it will be to help.
