I think this might be a mem leak. anyone also having trouble with cohof? bte, my cohof is 2103. I am going to get the update files to make it 2600. see if that fixes anything.

just a shout out to whoever designed the relic patching system: it's the stupidest thing I've seen like 50 separate patches to download to get to 2600 !!!

I have it on Steam so it gets all the updates automatically. I've never had the game crash on me.

I turned down the textures to high instead of ultra now the crashes are far fewer, I believe it's a memory problem somewhere in the program or the catalyst driver.

Are you running a 32-bit system? Relic's games are known to use excessive amounts of rams on the higher settings that cause crashes on 32-bit systems.
I suppose it's also possible you're getting a crash if you have less than 4GB of ram.

What is COHOF? I think it should be a requirement, in each thread that refers to a game, to at least give the full name of the game at least once before resorting to acronyms. Always threads popping up in the PC Gaming forum referring to OBDDL, or whatever.

Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.
And in a technical help thread you're not likely to be much help with a specific game if you don't know the common acronym for the game name, so it doesn't really mater if some people don't know what it's about, they wouldn't be much use anyway.

OP I think there are some downloads available of the patches from sites if you don't want to suffer the Relic patching system.

Not all, but some.
