Two thoughts as this plays out, first is Cohen's lawyer saying they didn't leak anything, I believe him for the simple reason it's not to Cohen's advantage at all, this would be much better served to Muller as part of a plea deal. The 2nd is that while everyone is talking about how would Cohen corroborate his claim Trump knew about the meeting my opinion is Trump already answers that question with his announcement that he was going to "drop a big bombshell about the Clinton's early next week".

Not to mention the meeting was with his son, his son in law, and his campaign manager while Trump sat about 2 floors away. Not only that but when news of the meeting came out Trump personally dictated a false statement for his son to release in order to cover up what the meeting was about. The odds he didn’t know about it are basically zero and we all know it.

The question Trump supporters should ask themselves is if Trump is so persecuted and he did nothing wrong then why did he and his associates lie about it at every single, solitary opportunity? The obvious answer is because he’s guilty.

Yes, but because he lies about everything he can say that's why he lied, not that he is guilty of anything.
