It may already be illegal in a way. If you sign a contract for a service and then the company doesn't provide the full service, it is breaking the contract. You are paying a company money to be able to email anyone, anywhere. If they suddenly cut you off, then they may have violated the contract.Originally posted by: zendari

That was the point behind the TCP\IP model the DoD developed. They wanted the ability for military sites to stay connected even if a few links went down from nuclear attacks.
They built a system smart enough to find another way around the broken link.
