how is the costco brand coffee? i always get it from there, it seems decent enough. i really wouldnt know though.

..that's where I get my whole beans (Colombian). great value for the money and always seem very fresh.

Yep, good flavor & great price.

I have a business acquaintance from Colombia that brings me some from time to time. Does anybody know of a source for it here in the US? I've done some research before but could not come up with anything.

My favorite blend that I've tried is without a doubt Sumatra.
I've had the beans from World Market and Starbucks and I really really really enjoyed it from both.
It's got a very potent flavor, but it is not overly bitter. It's pretty much the perfect coffee in my opinion.

I have a Keurig machine at home and at work, and I drink a lot of Green Mountain coffee both places. I like the Newman's Own Organic for breakfast, and the Espresso blend for work.

I was grinding my own at home and was very near buying a super-automatic espresso machine, but I decided against it because I couldn't justify the cost. Instead I bought this Keurig machine and am very happy with it.

The Keurig machine kicks ass. I just get tons of different kinds in the little cups and can have something different every day of the week. My favorite brand of coffee is: hot. I don't really care...as long as it's not heavily flavored (like amaretto coffee...blech).

Most of the time around home & office I enjoy Seattle Mountain Blend from Costco.

They roast it right there, and sell large retail volumes so quickly that the bags of whole beans up for sale are often still warm from roasting.

Whole bean, grind when you use it, with pure filtered water, honey, a little milk.

I like the taste better of the Hawaiian Hazlenut coffee from 2 local micro-roasters,
Santa Barbara Roasting Company, and
SLO Roasted Coffee in San Luis Obispo.

But much of the time I'm all out of that.
