You can choose to put your head in the sand like so many people in history have done to the reality of the evil movements and capabilities of people. History is littered with these examples. You can see my response above. One of the biggest warnings historians and sociologists and political scientists give is that the reason so many of these evil authoritarian movements succeed, is because those movements are just full of people that seem, well, normal for the most part. So people are too busy saying 'awww y'all just full of crazy talk' - Nazis and the like didn't walk around kicking puppies and torturing animals. They were neighbors, they had kids, they coached school sports, they were involved in the community, they said hi how are you, etc.. A few years later when they get enabled, they are marching in goose step and reporting their jewish neighbors or whatever that movement is about hating.
You can either try to learn and open your mind to human history and the reality on the ground, or you can choose to call other people terrible for living in reality.
