Y'all are psychos. I would at least ask at the end of the interview if I should do anything with the mug. I took it, I filled it, it's now my responsibility; it's not anyone else's job to take my crap into the kitchen.

At my office we typically fetch said drinks, water, soda or coffee for single guests. Typically not going to let someone we could literally be meeting for the first time a visit to the kitchen unsupervised. Then what are you just going to watch them make coffee and stand there? You have some weird idea of social norms.
This isn't a guest like a manager from another office or factory, it's usually the first time meeting said person.

Oh I'm quite sure. A ton of people agree with me because we are students of history and current with current events, and exist in reality. It's pretty crystal clear with that GQP base is about these days. Unfortunately, also throughout history, the reason these exact types of movements often succeed and end up in authoritarianism and do horrific things, is because too many people don't think it can happen; in fact those people did exactly what you are doing now, calling the people who see what's happening a bunch of hysterical people or just full of themselves. What you are doing now has been done text book in history by the parts of the population that enabled these horrific movements to come to power. Read a history book, it will be quite enlightening. It's happened a LOT of times. Not just Nazi Germany.

You can choose to put your head in the sand like so many people in history have done to the reality of the evil movements and capabilities of people. History is littered with these examples. You can see my response above. One of the biggest warnings historians and sociologists and political scientists give is that the reason so many of these evil authoritarian movements succeed, is because those movements are just full of people that seem, well, normal for the most part. So people are too busy saying 'awww y'all just full of crazy talk' - Nazis and the like didn't walk around kicking puppies and torturing animals. They were neighbors, they had kids, they coached school sports, they were involved in the community, they said hi how are you, etc.. A few years later when they get enabled, they are marching in goose step and reporting their jewish neighbors or whatever that movement is about hating.

You can either try to learn and open your mind to human history and the reality on the ground, or you can choose to call other people terrible for living in reality.

This is a stupid test. At most, the candidate should simply ask what they should do with the mug at the end, but the host (aka the interviewer) should really just not be using this as a metric.
