Coffe maker question

my coffee maker crapped out today. I got up and sat in a coffeeless haze for ten minutes before I realized that there was no pumping sound and no drippping of lifegiving coffee. My low tech alternative came through this time but does anyone know how to get a bit more life out of a Braun drip coffee maker that has stopped pumping. Its plugged in has water and the lights come on...?😕
 
Usually a varistor or some crappy thermal device opens up in the fuggen things..easier to go to costco and get the cone style Mr.Coffee for 29.95..I lub my coffee tooo..............🙂
