A1200AMS3B
I know the1200 means 1.2. What does the rest stand for?
Will this processor work in the Abit KG7-Raid?I think it will.My friend told me it wont because its not 266 FSB.I beleive that board will accept this chip.

I think the ams3 may have to do with where it is manufactured....I don't know that...

Though the "b" on the end means it is only a 200mhz front side bus chip...I am not sure if the board will allow this or not...However you could always unlock the chip (or it comes unlocked) drop multiplier and run it at 133mhz...Should run just fine...

1200mhz "b" = 12x 100fsb change to 9x 133fsb = 1200mhz...basically a "c" chip...

It's a 1.2 Ghz Athlon @ 200 FSB. Running on ur mobo is no probs. The settings should be 12.0 X 100 FSB.

Before u put it in. Check the L1 bridges & c if it is unlocked. If yes, U can run 9.0 X 133 FSB. If it is locked, use the old pencil trick to connect those L1 bridges.

A1200AMS3B

A=Athlon
1200=1200
A=PGA
M=vcore voltage
S=Case temperature
3=size of L2 cache
B= FSB speed

Now to find what exactly each letter stand for, I guess searching AMD website would find the answer

I saw a website that had all that stuff on there, I just can't remember what it was. I think it was Germany-based, though.
