For today only CodeWeavers are making their CrossOver software free to all U.S. Internet users. With CrossOver, Linux and Mac users can run Windows applications without needing Microsoft?s operating system.
You can claim your version by visiting the CodeWeavers site, where you will be given a serial number and can download the software. At the time of writing the site is down due to high demand, but access to the serial numbers is still available so you won?t miss out.
The reason for the free giveaway is due to The CodeWeavers Great American Lame Duck Presidential Challenge. The challenge set President Bush a number of goals to hit in the Twin Cities before January next year, those goals included:
