Codename: Panzers....anyone else's NOT WORK???

I got Codename: Panzers a couple weeks ago and man, has it been a pain. WHEN I got it to work, it's a cool game (especially on coop mode), but it crashes A LOT. Has anyone else had trouble playing and/or installing this game? Both myself and my friend are having similar troubles. Crashes randomly on co-op mode.....crashed every time I tried to play the german campaign single player....AND THEN when I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall, the CD is unreadable. My comp crashes is I simply try to run the setup.exe file. Anyone else experiencing this pain?

Co-op? What type of game is this? I'm always interested when I hear a game has co-op.

I was thinking about buying it as well. It as a Tank game I belive.

It's a RTS world war II game, similar to Blitzkrieg or Soldiers: Heroes of WWII. We bought the game specifically for the co-op mode, which lets two people play all the (3) campaign missions. We got through one mission...and it's a GOOD GAME, but something is really wrong with the CDs or something.

I don't see how it could be our systems. We are both using Athlon 3400+ with BFG 6800GT cards, 1 GIG ram, ASUS MB. As I said, I got the game to install and run ONCE, but now the darn CD won't even read (let alone autoboot like it should). I am using a Plextor PX-712A CD/DVD drive and have had no problems with any other games.

I would say I just got a bad copy, but my friend's is the same way, and he tried to install it on his Sony laptop as well and the CD wouldn't read (crashed it). So I would warn anybody who is thinking about getting this game that these things could happen.
