Codegen P-Case 460W - Low Price, Poor Quality

what a terrible supply. crap like this is why nvidia and amd recommend 9 bazillion watt supplies even though a quality 460 watt would run every one of their graphics cards.

I had a CodeGen case that came with a PSU. It was crap, even for my Athlon XP 1800+ rig.

I replaced it with a 430W "High Power", and that was good for a while, but then I upgraded to an X850 AGP 8x card, and it caused my HDs to spin down when it went into 3D mode. So I replaced it with a 500W or 550W SuperFlower.

Edit: It was similar to this one:

Edit: I think it was this one, actually. The first one on the page:

Except mine was beige, and not grey.

I remember one of my earliest custom builds, when the Athlon first came out, I cheaped out and got a dirt cheap Codegen case/psu combo. Ugh, that was awful. Never again did I buy a cheap PSU. I think it has been Enermax and Seasonic ever since.
