I managed to get a virus a while ago and still haven't gotten it completely off of my computer. At first it was affecting all of my browsers, but now is limited to IE. I need to use IE for work so thats kind of annoying and lets face it I'm not sure that it isn't doing anything else that I can't see.

IE now has underlined words with a "text enhance" ad box that pops up. It also seems like it is making IE run super slow. After doing some research it seems like I have managed to get the Codevc class BHO virus. Looking around it seems like it is a pretty hard one to get rid of and people are posting logs from scans and I have no idea what any of that stuff means.

Anyways if anyone hear knows of an easy way to remove it or is willing to help me out if I post logs it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you haven't already, I'd run ComboFix, and do a scan with Malware Bytes. Make sure MBam is updated first.

Will give that a shot. Cobofix is the one that you should do after you turn off the other antivirus software right?

Yeah, its recommended that you disable any AV to prevent them from messing with ComboFix. Also, you should check your addons/extensions and see if anything shows up in there. I believe some of that crap can be removed from there.
