Codec Installation on PC w/o Admin Priveleges

I want to encode a file using XviD on a school computer, but apparently I can't use any codecs that I install (VFW codecs) because they won't appear on any encoding programs list (i.e VirtualDub's video codec selection). Is there any way to install VFW codecs without having admin priveleges?
