i sent my friend a video made from my camcorder through Ulead studio. He can't view it because of improper codec. When I click properties on windows media it says the video codec is Intervideo Decoder. hOw can I get my friend to view this video without buying some random intervideo software? I cant find a place you can just download the intervideo decoder.... Can't I send it to him from my computer? (Where are codecs installed to, anyway?!)
 
Try encoding the video into another format like divx or windows media. Otherwise search for intervideo decoder. WinDVD SoftDVD uses intervideo decoder.
