This might lead myself being banned from this forum. Despite that risk, I believe I have a right to speak out my opinion.

It seems that the mods lately have been banning and locking threads alot more quickly and without any warning than before. A golden member "Millenium" was banned from this forum just because he threw a tantrum when his thread was locked with excessive "damn"s in his post. No matter how relevant it may seem to the moderator, from my point of view, it shouldn't have been as harsh. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending all of the victims of moderator "punishment", nor do I personally know any of them.

There has been excessive thread locking as well just because the moderator finds the thread "annoying". I know the moderator has the authorization to ban or lock anything he feels, however there should be a "good" reason behind it not just personal dislike.

Just lay off the lock and ban buttons for awhile(unless they are clearly breaking AT forum rules).

Unfortunately I don't feel this thread will last long; but, I tend to agree with you. While they should crack down on blatant neffing (a la mday's stuff) locking productive or intersting, worthwhile threads without reason is uncalled for.
