I know the chinese are brilliant but code red, they need to come up with some better. any ways. i think the red virus uses the ISS indexing service or something. what i need to know what does the virus really attack as do i really need the patch if i am not using the iss indexing service thank you 😀
 
don't forget it might not have come from the chinese either. any programmer could have put "Hacked by chinese" in there. i'd put my money on it being a us person that hates china.

If you're not running a web server, you don't need to worry.

95/98/ME are completely unaffected, 2000 only if you're running an IIS server.
