code for saving 3d traceroute snaps into a folder

hi,
i have a software 3d route. it is simply a visual traceroute. i want to capture the screen for the traceroute every 5 min.
is it possible to write a code in window 7 to take the full window snap every 5 min and save it in another folder. i think
there is a way to do it in linux but is it possible in windows.
any help is appreciated.

hi,
i think i didnt made my question clear. i want to automate this process. i am already using the snipping tool. but i have to do it manually. i want to do it through programming, so that the tool after every 5 min automatically takes the snapshot and save it in a folder.
