Try opening 28930 as well. My clan's 2 CoD4 servers are on that port and I know that NFO has been switching their servers to that port. Below is from late January of this year.

per NFO
It has come to our attention that CoD4 servers running on the default port may do very poorly in the server browser in comparison to other servers running on non-default ports. This does not show through the commonly-used 3rd-party audit tool at http://www.anarchic-x.com/cod4master/audit.php but we have noticed it anecdotally after changing a couple of servers to different ports. As a result, we are considering a change to port 28930 for all our public CoD4 servers.

If a port change is something that you would NOT like done for your server, please let us know right away. Our current plan is to change over any servers that are completely empty tonight (Thursday night) to the new port on Friday morning, as a test. If the test goes well, we will send out another email next week to invite our other renters to change their ports as well.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments about this or anything else. Please also let us know if you would like to test a different server port before our planned test tommorrow morning.

As promised, we switched most regularly-empty CoD4 servers to other-than-default ports last Friday. Since then, we have seen the player usage on these servers grow quite significantly. Many servers that were completely empty at all times before are now full most of the time -- one example of this is our 32-player LA test server, which was previously empty and has remained at between 28 and 32 players since we changed its port Thursday afternoon.

In light of this, we have changed our default server port for new customers and we have added a CoD4 port changer tool to the "Server control" page of our control panel. We highly encourage all public server renters who have not already changed their server port to give a new one a try through this tool, even if only for one night.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments about this or anything else. Customer service is extremely important to us.

it could be your firewall blocking the server because it thinks the server portscanned you or something else weird.

disable any firewall IP blocking features and try the server list again.
