CoD4: One shot, one kill mission

Must of tried over a dozen times trying to compensate for the wind but the bullet curves and zig zags worst than a pitcher throwing a screw ball. On one try the flag was flying to the left through out the bullet path but the bullet was zig zagging? Wouldn't the bullet just curve towards the left with the wind coming from the right? Wacky ballastics?

When the winds dies down you can hit him no problem. No need to adjust for drop at that distance either?

You have to wait til he tells you to fire as the guy is about to leave. Wind is pretty dead at that point.

Yeah, I think it's scripted enough that you can only actually make the shot when you're supposed to. I could be wrong.

B. You have to wait until your friend tells you to shoot. I tried shooting before he did and I hit one of the solders. 😛

B. I actually start blasting, if fail, restart. Too lazy to wait till the wind died down. I actually succeed twice by just firing right after the chopper leaves.

Was it that hard? I played on hardest difficulty and I shot the target + killed 4 enemy soldiers...

Its not that hard. I think I did it on my first shot. Played it again and hit him on the 2nd. You can shoot him even before your friend tells you to. Doesn't matter.

Am I thinking of the wrong mission? I thought right after you shot him you packed up the sniper rifle and made a break for it.

No you're thinking of the right mission ... but Spartan Niner seems to think he accomplished the impossible.

No you're thinking of the right mission ... but Spartan Niner seems to think he accomplished the impossible.

He likes to play pretend. In fact, he doesn't even own a computer... its a cardboard box.

Yes, it's not that hard to hit him after the wind dies. I can hit him every time after that and with head shots but trying to hit him while the wind is still blowing is another story.

IIRC you have some time to take pot shots, and also take down the attack helicopter.

I was able to hit him once out of about 20 tries before the wind stops so it is possible to do.

Isn't it scripted so you can only blow off his arm?

The slowmo gun toss at the end was funny.

I was able to hit the bad guy with the wind blowing, but should have noted that it didn't take him down & he still escaped so it may be scripted to be impossible.

Unfortunately I gave up at that point & just waited till the wind stopped to fire so I'm not sure.
