COD4 on VW246H

So I just recently picked up a VW246H and its native res is 1920x1080. I really want to pickup COD4 but obviously because of LCDs fixed res situation I have to use 1920x1080. Anyone can look at my sig and determine if my ancient system will be able to play this game at this kind of res without any problems? thx for any help.
 
I played cod4 at 1920x1200 with one 4870 for a long time, as long as you don't turn up the anisotropic filtering or turn on anti-aliasing you should get decent numbers.
 
It?ll be fine; I use 1920x1200 with 4xAA on my GTX285, and there?s plenty of performance even in the heavily forested areas.
 
I run that resolution with the same card everything maxed with 4xAA on COD:WAW which is a little more demanding than COD4. Runs nice and smooth.
 
thx all for the reply, i can buy with confidence now. I was more worried about being bottle necked with my processor. Hopefully this wont gimme to many problems.
