1 - what is the difference between deep impact and stopping power ? i would very much
prefer to swap stopping power for sleight of hand if deep impact provides the same or
similar increase.

2 - can individual players download and use modified weapons or is that a server-side
change ?

1. Deep Impact allows you to shoot through walls and such better - bullets do less damage when they go through stuff, but this helps to alleviate that problem. Stopping power simply makes your bullets do more damage to what they hit. But they might not penetrate if you're shooting at a wall.

2. No, I don't think so. The server would probably have them in a custom mode and you would download them as you load.

the mods might work, but only you would see them. it'd have to be a server side thing for other people to see it. at least, thats how it used to work for some other games.
