i've done a bit of searching on the subject, but thus far haven't found much...
anyway, my roomate and i both have cod4. we can both play online together with no issues. the issues come with the server list mainly. if i'm in game and he refreshes the server list, my ping goes to hell and i get connection interrupted messages until the refresh finishes. if i'm just browsing the web and he does the list, my net basically dies. no websites will load, etc. the same thing happens if i'm the one refreshing the server list and he's playing/browsing.
are there some ports we can forward or something to alleviate the issue? seems kind of crazy that cod hogs up all the internet bandwidth just to refresh a server list. like i said, i've searched but 99% of cod 4 stuff is for xbox and ps3 issues.
if it matters, we are behind an sbc dsl modem that doubles as a router.
