COD4 1.2 Patch

Activision and Infinity Ward have issued a new patch for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, updating to v1.2 this first person sequel. This patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue, addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred to as the 'Left / Vertical Lean' Glitch, in addition to preparing files for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Mod Tools.

if its what I think it is, i don't think any game with lean ability has ever had it work properly.

I remember in SoF2 leaning (particularly leaning & crouching at the same time) would screw up the hitboxes so you were harder to hit. people made scripts that would automatically put them into a lean crouch because of this.

It never stopped me from killing them. I quite enjoyed it when someone did it and I still walked right through them. Loved the power of the shotgun. I'd usually make fun of them the rest of the time I was in the server.
